Principal’s Message:

Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight as we “spring forward” to begin Daylight Savings Time. Remember that during this time change we lose one hour of sleep, and that can have a big effect on our students. To help them adjust, set all the clocks ahead tonight, so that they go to bed tonight and wake up tomorrow on their usual schedule, but at the new time. Have all your lunches, school materials, and backpacks ready Sunday night so that you don’t feel rushed on Monday.

Plan to arrive at school on-time—by 7:45 at the latest. Remember that traffic may be unusually congested on Monday morning, and that you can miss almost all the traffic by arriving between 7:30 and 7:40 am.

Thank you for driving safely, following all traffic laws, and pulling all the way forward in our valet line before allowing your student to exit.

Douglas Slonkosky, Principal
